On May 10, 2024, the College of Business Administration undertook a significant initiative to monitor the on-the-job training (OJT) of its graduating students. The delegation, led by College Dean Mr. Michael Jere’ D. Abiol, DM, alongside OJT Coordinator and Program Head Ms. Sheila Mae P. Indoc, MM, and College Document Officer Ms. Christine Galbinez, visited various partner organizations to assess the progress and performance of the students.
The visit was met with a warm reception from the partner organizational and department heads, who provided positive feedback on the students’ contributions and performance. This monitoring activity demonstrated the college’s commitment to ensuring that its students were well-prepared for their professional careers. It aimed to strengthen the linkage and continuous partnerships with industry partners, ensuring that the training programs align with real-world demands and expectations.
By closely monitoring the students’ OJT, the college not only verified that the practicumers were performing tasks essential for their growth but also identified areas for further improvement. This initiative is crucial for the holistic growth of the college, as it ensures that students gain hands-on experience, develop professional skills, and are ready to transition seamlessly into the workforce. Strengthening these industry-academic linkages was vital for maintaining the relevance and quality of the college’s educational offerings.
