Students had a fantastic learning experience, gaining valuable insights into the IT sector in Cebu City. They visited companies like QUALFON, INNODATA KNOWLEDGE SERVICES, PAGASA DOST IT DEPARTMENT, and PLDT’s Wireless Unit, Smart Communications, Inc., learning about the latest IT trends and practices firsthand.
On the last day, students explored Cebu City’s historic sites and had fun at Cebu Ocean Park, immersing themselves in the local culture and environment.
Overall, SEMTOUR 2024 provided students with a broad understanding of the IT industry, covering technical aspects and the cultural and social influences on business.
