About

St. Peter’s College is committed to providing financial assistance to deserving students. These initiatives aim to make quality education accessible to a diverse student population and empower students to achieve their academic and career goals through a range of scholarships, government programs, private company sponsorships, and tuition fee discounts.

List of Scholarship and Financial Assistance

These scholarships and grants are granted to deserving students wanting to finish a degree who excel in academics, athletics, and performing arts. Scholarships are also given to student assistants.
The scholarship is renewable every semester.

1. EPP Academic Scholarship for VALEDICTORIANS
ย  ย  ย  ย  ย This is granted to freshmen students who graduated as Valedictorian from a duly recognized high school from Iligan City whose graduating class should not be less than forty (40) graduates. The grantee enjoys a 100% free tuition fee starting in their freshmen year.

2. EPP Academic Scholarship for SALUTATORIANS
ย  ย  ย  ย  This is granted to freshmen students who graduated as Salutatorian from a duly recognized high school from Iligan City whose graduating class should not be less than forty (40) graduates. The grantee may enjoy a 50% tuition fee discount starting in their freshmen year.

3. EPP Student Assistantship
ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  A 100% scholarship grant for tuition fee, laboratory, and miscellaneous fee with a monthly allowance is given to students who are accepted in this program. Student assistants shall assist in the operations of the different offices and shall render at least five (5) hours a day of office work. Student Assistants are allowed to enroll in 15 units of subject load in every semester in any College Courses offered including NSTP and P.E. subjects. They can have an additional three (3) unit subjects scheduled from 5:30 pm onwards. Annual renewal of this scholarship shall be subject to the guidelines set by the school.

This is granted to a son or daughter of a faculty or staff enrolling in the Basic Education and Tertiary levels and Postgraduate program. The amount of which is graduated according to the length of service.

a. Five (5) years of service- 50% of Tuition Fee
b. Ten (10) years of service- 100% of Tuition Fee

Enjoy a five percent (5%) tuition fee discount in any degree programs offered in SPC.

Any graduate in the high school department who enrolls in any degree programs offered in SPC enjoys five percent (5%) tuition fee discounts.

For three (3) brothers/sisters of the same biological father and mother concurrently enrolled at SPC, a 25%tuitionfeediscount is given to the youngest of the siblings.

For four (4) brothers/sisters of the same biological father and mother concurrently enrolled at SPC, a 50% tuition fee discount is given to the youngest of the siblings.

The Student Financial Assistance Programs (StuFAPs) is one of the major programs of the Commission on Higher Education to increase the number of graduates in colleges and universities offering programs crucial to the development of a strong and vibrant Philippine economy. The StuFAPs is primarily a financial assistance given to poor but deserving students.

Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) is a grant-in- aid program under RA 10931 or Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act given to qualified students enrolled in CHED- recognized public and private higher education institutions to support at least the partial cost of tertiary education, inclusive of education- related expenses.

CHED UNIFAST Regional Office 10 conducted a monitoring visit

The Commission on Higher Education Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (CHED UNIFAST) Regional Office 10 recently conducted a monitoring visit today, July 20, 2023. The visit was led by the esteemed representatives: Ms. Mirabell P. Almuena, Ms. Praise Hallel J. Diaz, and Mr. Giechris E. Cabatuan.
